FLAT EARTH WALKS BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

These generally linear walks are for people who have downgraded from the A, B, and C walks,
who want to reminisce about the old days. All about 4 miles in length and 11.00 start unless
otherwise stated, and will stop at a pub for lunch.

OCT 19 — Littleborough to Walsden along the Rochdale Canal.
Meet Littleborough railway station. Buses 454, 457 or 590 from
Rochdale. Buses 589 or 590 from Walsden to Rochdale. Leader John Walton.

NOV 16 — Dunham Massey circular. 5 miles. Meet Manchester
Piccadilly 10.15. Take the Altringham Metro, alighting at Navigation
Road (the stop before Altringham Interchange).
Metro from Altringham to Manchester. Leader Alan Forster.

FEB 22 — Bardsley Bridge to Failsworth, via Oldham Way,
Daisy Nook, Medlock Vale, Brookdale Park and Rochdale Canal.

MAR 21 — Guide Bridge to Hyde, along Ashton Canal and Peak Forest Canal.
Meet Guide Bridge station. Buses 409 and 419 to Ashton then 317 or 347 to Guide Bridge.
