FOOTPATH PROBLEMS?

Definitive Maps are going Digital

The Tameside definitive map has been available in a digital format on line for
about 18 months. The Oldham def map should be available in a digital format
from the spring/summer of 2011

For reporting footpath problems, it should now be quite easy to report them in
a digital format. Please let me have an 8 figure grid reference, details of the
problem and if possible not more than 2 digital photos.

I can then email the path problem with the definitive path number to the Oldham
or Tameside ROW officer. Using the 8 fig grid reference they can highlight the
problem onto their digital map and hopefully, the problem can be resolved quite
quickly. I can email, back to the sender, any comments from the ROW officer.
